NCAA Basketball Practice Test

The Pac-12 Conference is known for including prominent teams such as the University of Southern California (USC) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). This conference has historically been one of the major collegiate athletic conferences in the NCAA, particularly noted for its strength in sports like basketball and football.

USC and UCLA are two flagship programs within the Pac-12, providing successful athletic traditions and significant contributions to the conference's overall reputation. Teams in this conference compete at a high level, and both schools have rich histories and rivalries that are celebrated in collegiate athletics.

The other conferences mentioned do not include these specific teams: the Big 12 is known for schools primarily located in the central United States, the SEC focuses more on southern schools, and the Mountain West Conference (MWC) features a mix of teams mainly from the western and mountain regions of the U.S. Hence, the correct answer highlights the appropriate association of these universities with the Pac-12 Conference.
